FleetPlus vs corporate bank cards

A bank card controls the amount. It does not control what the amount bought, and it cannot show the service was performed. That is the difference.

FleetPlus vs corporate bank cards
CriterionFleetPlusBank card
What is actually controlledAmount, service category, vehicle and provider togetherAmount and merchant
Attribution to a vehicleEvery transaction carries the plate number automaticallyNone — added by hand after the fact, if at all
Proof the service happenedBefore/after photos on every transactionNone — a payment is evidence of a payment
Tax invoicingOne consolidated tax invoice a monthA bank statement, plus invoices chased from each merchant
Provider network5,000+ certified providers at unified pricesAny merchant that takes the card, at their own price

The short answer

A bank card knows how much was paid and to whom. It does not know what was done. The statement says "service centre, SAR 480" and cannot say which vehicle, which service, or whether it happened at all. FleetPlus works at the level of the transaction rather than the payment: a named vehicle, one of eight service categories, a certified provider, and photos before and after — then one tax invoice at month end instead of a statement that has to be explained line by line.
